About Buy Things In Bulk
Buy Things In Bulk was started by Brendan Steele after a very ordinary problem became impossible to ignore: prices kept rising, but salaried income was not keeping up.
At the same time, my family's expenses spiked. We had three kids under the age of three, and suddenly the everyday essentials disappeared faster than expected: paper towels, diapers, wipes, snacks, detergent, trash bags, coffee, printer paper, and everything else a household somehow runs through at full speed.
Buying in bulk seemed like the obvious answer, but the actual shopping experience was a mess. One Amazon listing might be sold by the sheet, another by the ream, another by the case, and another by the ounce. A cheaper-looking item was not always cheaper. A "bulk deal" was not always a deal. I wanted one place that normalized everything to the same base unit so the best value was obvious.
That is how Buy Things In Bulk was born: a practical tool for families and small businesses that want to stop overpaying for the things they already buy.

Inflation is real, household budgets are tight, and nobody should need a spreadsheet to buy paper towels. Buy Things In Bulk exists to make bulk shopping clearer, calmer, and more honest.
